I started writing about rock & roll when I was in high school — who knew I would have picked out my career so early? After a brief look at the world of engineering, it was clear that my path would take me elsewhere. I bounced around a few different schools and wound up at Hunter College, part of the City University Of New York system, where I was a reporter for the school newspaper and the morning DJ at the campus radio station.
From there, I spent some invaluable time as a programming assistant at the legendary New York City radio station WNEW-FM, where I got to work alongside legends including Dennis Elsas, Pat St. John, and the all-timer, the late great Scott Muni.
After that, I spent a number of years with syndicated radio companies including Neer Perfect Productions, MJI Broadcasting, and SW/Launch/Yahoo/United Stations.
Now, I’m on my own, and it’s never been better. There’s a world of great music being made out there that people oftentimes don’t get to hear — and might not even know exists — and I hope to share as much of it as possible with all of you.
