The mighty mighty Van Halen is back and sounding better than ever! The group postponed their tour earlier this year so guitarist Eddie Van Halen could deal with some unexplained health issues, and they made their return last week in Reno and then in Las Vegas. Any doubts about what the group would sound like were laid to rest immediately in Las Vegas as they tore into “You Really Got Me” — vintage power was on display from the first note. The set list included hits and favorites like “Dance The Night Away,” “Unchained,” “Hot For Teacher,” “Panama,” Eddie’s “Eruption” solo, and “Jump.”
Don’t take my word for it, though — check out this video, which includes over six minutes of highlights from the show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

- The Las Vegas show was part of golfer Tiger Woods’s annual Tiger Jam charity event, during which he raises money for and awareness of his Tiger Woods Foundation, which aids children worldwide.
